Why I Chose This Career
I have always had a compulsion to write, maintaining a daily journal since a very young age and completing numerous papers while pursuing a double major in literature and philosophy. As a lifelong climber, taking the best possible kit can make a huge difference on big adventures. Helping others take the right equipment motivates me to provide thorough and honest reviews.
How I Began My Career
I have lived seasonally in Yosemite Valley for the last eight years, climbing as much as possible and working for Search and Rescue and now as a Climbing Ranger. In the winter, I travel to pursue personal climbing goals. Along the way, I have taken on an increasing number of freelance writing and photography opportunities to help fund my dreams.
