I've always loved to decorate homes with beautiful furniture and making great memories has always warmed my heart.  Some of my fondest memories from my childhood were of our family dinners.  I remember the entire family sitting at the dining room table after our busy days.  Dining time was a time to share events of the day, but in our house the meal itself was always the most interesting part.  The reason that the meal was so interesting was because we never knew what we were going to get! 

My mother was the host of a radio call-in recipe sharing show called " What's Cooking with Pat".  The show was sponsored by a local grocery store - Food Country.  My mother actually did the show live from the grocery store.   If one of the called in recipes sounded good to her, mom would grab the ingredients from the store and make the dish for dinner.  So, we never knew what we were getting for dinner!
